Spotlight On The Cody Fund

We’d like to share a special project with you. The Cody Fund was started to honor the memory of Cody, a six-year old rescue dog who belonged to two airline pilots. While his owners were flying, he spent a lot of time in the care of Marie, our friend and the owner of Canine/Feline Behavior Counseling. He had to have orthopedic surgery to repair some damage and recovered very well. Then a few weeks later he escaped from his owners’ yard and was later found miles away. When he finally returned home, he seemed fine, but a few days later he went to sleep one night and didn’t wake up the next morning. Friends and family asked Rising Sun Animal Care if we would be willing to sponsor a fund in Cody’s name that could be used to pay for lifesaving treatments for rescue and service animals that don’t have a loving family able to pay their bill. We are honored to support this fund. Please contact us if you’d like to donate or if you know of an animal that could benefit from The Cody Fund.
